Spiritual Formation
Spiritual Formation is the process of being conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of others. Through Bible Study, community, service, and spiritual practices such as prayer and worship, God matures, strengthens, comforts and guides us.
Spiritual formation is expressed in three ways: maturity of being, characterized by a personal and communal relationship with God in Jesus Christ; maturity of knowing,
characterized by intentional and transformational learning and reflection about God, self, and the world; and maturity of doing, characterized by intentional actions compelled by what we believe and who we are in Christ.

All of us long to connect with someone who can identify with our circumstances and share in our day-to-day life. Prayer is just that - a personal experience and intimate connection with our loving Heavenly Father. Through prayer, we guided by the peace, power and presence of the Holy Spirit.
FUMC's Prayer Ministry's mission is to connect self and other to Christ.
